Why Early Intervention Matters

Early intervention is critical in speech and language development. The early years represent a period of high neuroplasticity, making it easier to build foundational communication skills. Timely therapy prevents academic, social, and emotional challenges that may arise from untreated communication difficulties. Early support also equips families with effective strategies to reinforce learning in daily routines.

At Fyndhealth, our goal is to empower children with confident, functional communication skills that support lifelong success.

At Fyndhealth, we are committed to delivering holistic, compassionate, and outcome-driven Occupational Therapy that helps children attain their fullest potential and thrive in everyday life.

Reflex Integration in Occupational Therapy at Fyndhealth -

ATNR Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (ATNR) is a primitive reflex present in infants that helps support early motor development and coordination. Normally, this reflex integrates within the first year of life. However, if ATNR persists beyond infancy, it may affect a child’s posture, hand-eye coordination, writing skills, and ability to cross the midline of the body. At Fyndhealth, our experienced Occupational Therapists assess retained reflexes such as ATNR and use targeted movement and integration activities to support neurological development. These exercises help improve coordination, attention, motor planning, and learning readiness, enabling children to participate more effectively in daily tasks and school activities.

Somatosensory Activities -

focus on stimulating the body’s sensory systems related to touch, body awareness, and movement. These activities help children better understand sensations such as pressure, texture, temperature, and joint position, which are essential for coordination, motor control, and self-regulation. At Fyndhealth, somatosensory activities conducted by our well qualified, certified & experienced Occupational Therapists may include deep pressure exercises, tactile play, obstacle courses, and movement-based tasks designed to improve body awareness and sensory processing. These structured activities support children who experience sensory sensitivities, coordination difficulties, or challenges with focus, helping them develop stronger motor skills, improved attention, and greater comfort in everyday activities.

03

Behavioural Therapy

Early support also prevents escalation of problematic behaviors and promotes healthy coping mechanisms.

At Fyndhealth, we are committed to fostering positive behavioral growth through compassionate, structured, and evidence-based therapy programs that empower children and  families.

04
